About MSBC

A holding company built with intent

What started with one founder and one conviction has grown into six companies across five industries, all under one roof, all pulling in the same direction.

Our Story

It began with one question: what if we owned the whole chain?

In 2022, our founder Samkelo Banzi Calvin Madaza didn't set out to start a company. He set out to build a family of companies, a holding structure that could own, grow and connect businesses across the industries that actually move Africa forward.

The logic was simple but stubborn. Too many good businesses fail not because they lack talent, but because they stand alone. So instead of chasing a single market, we built a home, MSBC International Holdings, and then filled it, one company at a time. Some we founded from nothing. Others we acquired and turned around. Each one strengthens the next.

Today, logistics feeds mining, mining feeds finance, technology sharpens everything, and construction puts it all to work on the ground. We may not be the biggest group on the continent, but we are built to be the most dependable, and we are only getting started.

One accountable structure

A core, and five divisions in orbit around it

Logistics, mining, finance, technology and construction each stand on their own, yet every one draws strength from the shared MSBC core. Drag the model to explore, or tap a division. It floats freely in infinite depth.

Our Mission

To build and grow companies that matter, reliable, responsible and built to last, creating lasting value for our partners, our people and the communities across Africa that we serve.

Our Vision

To become the most trusted diversified holding company on the continent, the partner of choice for every organisation that builds, moves, finances and grows Africa.

The group

5 divisions. 6 companies. One holding structure.

MSBC International Holdings operates as the parent company over five industry divisions. Some businesses we founded from the ground up; others joined the group through acquisition. Each is a specialist in its field, and stronger for operating as one.
